Biography

Many describe my style as a mesmerizing fusion of fluid grace and raw emotion. From my earliest memories at age four, dance has been my constant companion and truest form of expression. My journey led me from Turkey, where I first fell in love with belly dance, to the vibrant dance community of the San Francisco Bay Area in 2014, inspired by the remarkable artistry of Sherri Wheatley.

In my pursuit of artistic excellence, I've had the privilege of studying with legendary teachers including Carolena Nericcio, Suhaila Salimpour, Zoe Jakes, Rachel Brice, Jill Parker, Kae Montgomery, Mira Betz and Olga Meos. This rich tapestry of influences has shaped my distinctive approach to Fusion Bellydance. As a certified instructor through both Datura and Dance Craft programs, I remain committed to continuous learning and growth in my craft.

My performances with esteemed companies like Jill Parker's "Little Egypt," Pixie Fordtears' "Eclipse Bellydance," and the renowned Beats Antique have deepened my understanding of movement and expression. While my technique is precisely crafted, my true passion lies in exploring the deeper, more personal dimensions of dance. Each performance is an opportunity to express the inexpressible through gooey, graceful movements that blend sensuality with elegance.

When not performing, you might find me losing myself in the joyous rhythms of Balkan music—a cherished remedy for life's contemplative moments that adds another layer to my artistic expression.
